Standard commercial cardboard packaging is wholly inadequate for substantial architectural brass and mouth-blown glass. SATURN ATELIER employs an engineered packaging methodology:

1. Heavy Timber Crating

Reinforced birch plywood exterior shell engineered to resist compression and external impacts during intercontinental freight.

2. Custom Foam Suspension

CNC-routed closed-cell polyethylene foam beds contouring precisely to brass armature stems and glass globes.

3. Anti-Corrosion Vapor Barrier

Hermetically sealed desiccated barrier bag protecting unlacquered living brass finishes from atmospheric salt and moisture.

Tracking, Delivery Appointments & Duties

  • Dispatch Notification: When your crate leaves the foundry hall, an automated dispatch email is transmitted with carrier tracking numbers and an electronic copy of your packing slip.
  • Adult Signature Required: Because our luminaires represent significant architectural investments, all deliveries require a physical adult signature upon handover. Couriers are prohibited from leaving crates unattended on porches.
  • Delivery Appointment Scheduling: For large chandeliers and multi-fixture orders, the carrier will contact the phone number provided at checkout 24 hours prior to establish a scheduled delivery window.
  • Customs, Tariffs & Sales Tax: Orders shipped to qualifying US and UK destinations include necessary export declarations. Applicable state sales taxes (calculated at 8.5% standard where mandated) are clearly itemized on your checkout ledger with zero hidden carrier fees on delivery.
  • Return Freight Responsibility: In the event of an authorized return, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. SATURN ATELIER does not provide prepaid return labels or cover return freight. SATURN ATELIER does not provide any warranty or guarantee on products.
